Frequently asked questions

All file version uploads count toward your storage quota — including every version of every file across all your repositories. Deleted repositories free up their storage.

A simple part STL is usually 1–50 MB. A complex assembly can be 50–500 MB. DWG drawings run 1–30 MB each. The free tier (2 GB) fills up quickly with real engineering work — Pro (25 GB) is the recommended starting point for active engineers.

Uploads are blocked once you hit your limit. You can either delete old versions/files to free space, upgrade your plan, or pay per-GB overage (available on Pro and above). We'll warn you at 85% and 95% capacity.

Team plans include a shared storage pool for the entire organization. All members draw from the same pool. When you add seats, the pool size stays fixed — upgrade your tier for more shared storage.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

The Standard plan includes a 14-day free trial. All other plans are billed from day one.

Team plans are per-organization, and every seat in an org shares the same tier. Individual users outside of an org can be on any Solo plan.
